Redirected Self Hypnosis

What is Redirected Self Hypnosis?

Redirected Self Hypnosis, also known as Redirected Neuroplastic Self Hypnosis, is the science of applying principles of neuroplasticity through conscious, focused attention, with the goal of correcting maladapted neuronal pathways. It is a self-imposed process usually performed under the direction of a qualified facilitator. In addition, it utilizes learned responses to threatening situations or messages, and creates individualized corrective action and behaviors.

These learned responses are symptoms of a maladapted neuronal pathway created as a protective mechanism against a perceived threat. These symptoms can be physical, emotional, and/or psychological.
